#Bookfest

I had an amazing weekend at The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.

 Once Upon A Time Bookstore

 Vromans Bookstore
The good books, the cool t-shirts, the bookish extra's.
Mystery Galaxy and  Skylight books are a few more bookstores we visited.
When the Harry Potter Love is Real :)
In one way or another, Harry Potter was present at all the bookstores we visited. My kids even got a free book and the cool glasses.
I can think of a long list of people I love. People I appreciate that helped inspire mold, shape, me into who I am today. Loved this one.

I didn't have a book but Author Jennifer Niven was kind enough to take a picture with me anyway at Mrs. Nelson's Books
The Kiddies greatly enjoyed this illustrator who personalized the book, and drew some very cute little girls on the front page. Author and Basketball player Rasheed Wallace signed the book as well. My son loves basketball and my daughter loves drawing, so I know this was a great experience for them.

I thought this was a really great idea. This program sold the short stories written by the students at Manual Arts High School, the high school my dad went to, which is the only thing that caught my eye.

This day wouldn't have been possible or as much fun without my real life book boyfriend, my husband who is endlessly supportive. He waits in hours long lines, keeps the youngins entertained, he feeds my book buying habit. And he's always making me laugh. We really enjoyed the USC campus and must have snapped a couple hundred pictures. Can't wait for next year.
