Matched (Mini Review)

From Goodreads: Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate... until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.

The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.

It was beautiful. I absolutely loved it. I enjoyed my last few books but I loved this one. Cassia and Ky (names I love) live in a dystopian world that believes in ultimate control. Cassia and Xander have been best friends their whole lives but are surprised when they are Matched because apparently being Matched with someone from your neighborhood is very rare. So the next day she is looking at her info card and a picture of Ky flashes after Xander.
What I love about Ky! He's quiet, smart, sweet, and a Rebel. For me, that is an award winning combination. She didn't chose the common and popular choice, Xander, who is charismatic, funny, attractive, and competitive.
Cassia didn't harp on how sexy anyone was. The story was well written, clear and concise. She wasn't irrational and overly emotional.

A rebellion is underway.
