The Edge of Never

From Goodreads: Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett thought she knew exactly where her life was going. But after a wild night at the hottest club in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, she shocks everyone-including herself-when she decides to leave the only life she's ever known and set out on her own. Grabbing her purse and her cell phone, Camryn boards a Greyhound bus ready to find herself. Instead, she finds Andrew Parrish.

Sexy and exciting, Andrew lives life like there is no tomorrow. He persuades Camryn to do things she never thought she would and shows her how to give in to her deepest, most forbidden desires. Soon he becomes the center of her daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But there is more to Andrew than Camryn realizes. Will his secret push them inseparably together-or destroy them forever?

What I Thought

This is one of the best romance books I've read.

I was truly surprised to enjoy it as much as I did. I had low expectations of a book of a road trip romance. It seemed too sudden and temporary.

But the love between Camryn and Andrew grew throughout the book, it wasn't instant.

I loved the dual points of view, even though it sort of seemed like an afterthought.

Their interactions were funny, easy going, and very enjoyable to read.

Camryn was an interesting character, one worth getting to know and love.

Andrew was sweet and nice, and just wonderful. He wasn't arrogant, or possessive. He was just amazing. He makes girls all over the world want to start riding cross country buses in hopes of meeting and falling in love with a guy like him.

I will admit, I thought it was going to be a bit more dark and dirty from the description on goodreads. "He persuades Camryn to do things she never thought she would and shows her how to give in to her deepest, most forbidden desires."

I was totally sucked into this life they created on the road. I was completely sucked in, I could not and would not put this book down.
It was so emotional!!!

And when it was time to go home I was screaming "NOOO Find some way to stay together"

At the end I literally cried, and I don't do that for most books.

I am counting down the days until the follow up is released. "The Edge of Always"

  1. I've had these books on my shelf for so long and now I regret forgetting to read them! This review made me want to read The Edge of Never right away! Great review!

  2. Oh you def should! It's so easy it flies by. and as much as I loved The edge of never I just couldn't get with The edge of Always. It felt so slow in comparison. I don't maybe I just struggle with sequels.
